When I tiptoed into the stock markets, I thought that fundamental analysis was the only way by which prices could be forecast. Oh my ! that required a lot of data to perfect predictions, and the necessary data was not readily available. I wanted something which was more practical and visual. That is when I discovered Technical Analysis.
Technical analysis gives one the ability to interpret past and present stock price movements. The basis of technical analysis is that all information related to the fundamentals of a stock is already reflected in the stock price. This makes me a fundamental analyst too !! So, I feel fundamental analysis is a waste of time. Markets always surprises you , but done correctly, Technical Analysis should remove fear and doubt from your investing and make your trading profitable.
